This Privacy Policy explains how Holly Bohn Pittman DBA What I Expected ("What I Expected," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit whatiexpected.co, contact us, or listen to the What I Expected podcast. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, company name, brand name and anything you write in your message, including how you heard about us. We also receive whatever you share when you email us or message us on social media.
Information collected automatically. Our website platform, Squarespace, and similar tools collect technical information when you visit. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that referred you, your approximate location, and the date and time of your visit. Much of this is collected through cookies.
Information from affiliate partners. When you click an affiliate link, partners such as ShopMy and Amazon may use cookies to track whether a purchase was made. They report sales and commissions to us. We generally do not receive your name, address or payment information from them.

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website or method of storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to retailers, brands and social media platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
