Facial Mineral Sunscreen Goldilocks Guide

Not every product comparison fits neatly into MISS / MEET / EXCEED.

Sometimes several products are perfectly good. They do what they claim. They may even deserve a MEET across the board. The real issue is whether they are a good fit for your lifestyle.

That is where The Goldilocks Guide comes in: my roundup format for products that do what they promise but still vary in ways that matter in real life.

For this guide, I tested a group of facial mineral sunscreens and narrowed them down based on what I personally wanted as a 52-year-old woman who spends a lot of time outside in Florida:

glow without white cast
enough protection to matter
melasma support
wearability with or without makeup
mineral-only formulas that felt good enough to use daily

The Big Takeaway

All of these sunscreens are MEET. They do what they claim. But only a few were just right for what I wanted.

And that is what makes sunscreen so tricky. The “best” formula depends on your age, lifestyle, skin type & daily habits.
